Position Details

What you will do in this role:

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally at all times during interaction
  • Performs blood collection procedures and related tasks
  • Verifies specimen order requirements and identifying information prior to specimen collection
  • Follows venipuncture procedures and displays knowledge of standard procedures, techniques and common practice areas
  • Labels all specimens collected and delivers/transports them to the appropriate processing area

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Phlebotomy certification required
  • CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment
  • Prior Phlebotomy experience preferred
