Position Details

What you will do in this role:

  • Responsible for oversight of court related procedures for patients requiring involuntary treatment of mental health issues and substance abuse.  
  • Responsible for appearing at probable cause hearings to provide clinical information on behalf of the hospital.  Responsible for fostering a relationship between the court system, county, physicians, and hospital. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all court documentation is accurate and meets all court provided deadlines.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license.
  • Previous experience in inpatient healthcare required. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.
  • Ability to work well in fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Excellent written, verbal, overall communication skills

Salary range: $62,000 - $84,000 per year. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this yearly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this yearly rate.
