The Director of Military and Uniformed Services Partnerships implements the business development process for the Help For Heroes Program to assure that the census and revenue goals are met across the national platform. Responsible for maintaining ongoing positive relationships with identified referral sources. Monitors community trends indicating the needs for new services/programs.  Develops and analyzes metrics to assess effectiveness of strategies for the affected locations. Conducts ongoing competitor analysis.  Trains and oversees activities of assigned hospital BD designated Help For Heroes representatives. Coaches and develops Help for Heroes team members.

Position Details

What you do in this role:

  • Works collaboratively with the Help for Heroes National Team to create a strategic business development plan that positively impacts the Help for Heroes Program.
  • Provides effective account management of assigned accounts.
  • Displays fiscal responsibility as travel time consists of visiting multiple referral entities within a single business trip (example - having a route plan in place to visit multiple active duty installations consecutively)
  • During non-travel periods, work time is spent collaborating with H4H facilities, study and analyzing trends, tracking effective marketing techniques

During non-travel periods, large emphasis is placed on conducting phone/video contacts with referral sources to coordinate future visits, provided information related to the program as a whole, ensure communication is occurring regularly and that satisfaction is met, address Service Recovery related concerns, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field
  • Previous experience in health care business development required. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred. Military experience and/or background preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto
  • Must show proof of automobile insurance. Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
